TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please treat the hired garments as you would your own.
You can not make any alterations to the hire item in any way.
Fake tan should not be applied within 48 hours of wearing the hired item.
General wear and tear may be accepted depending on circumstances, however please notify our team ASAP if there are any defects or damages to the garment.
Dry cleaning is included in your hire purchase so please do not attempt to clean the garment in any way.
Be extremely careful with using makeup, perfum, liquids, foods, cigarettes etc around the garments.
In the event that a garment is damaged or lost Worn By Her reserves the right to charge a more detailed cleaning fee or full RRP of the hired item if the first dry cleaning attempt is unsuccessful.
If customers are required to pay a cleaning fee or RRP, this cost will be added on top of your hire fee price.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

All hires requiring interstate postage must be placed before 3pm on Tuesday to ensure arrival for the weekend of your event.

WBH will not be liable for any delays through Australia Post. Our pieces are posted with Express Post services with plenty of time (3+ Days), so WBH cannot be held accountable for any late deliveries.

A full credit note minus a $20 fee and minus shipping fees can be given for any shipping delays resulting in the piece not arriving for your event. To receive this credit note, the item must be shipped back unworn the next business day.

Same day and courier delivery can be arranged via Star Track for last minute deliveries at extra cost.

RETURNS POLICY

LOCAL RETURNS

All local hires must be returned to the pickup address by 5pm on the specified return date or a late fee will occur.

POSTAL RETURNS

All postal items must be returned with the provided prepaid Australia post Express satchel over the counter at an Auspost store on or before 3pm on the specified return date. Loss of the prepaid satchel results in paying for an aupost EXPRESS satchel at the buyes expense. A photo of the lodgement receipt must be sent to our instagram when completed.

OTHER

Please contact our enquiries team if there is a delay or you are unable to return your item. If you cant comply with these policies you may incur a fee relating to the problem. Late returns will incur a fee of 20% of the hire price PER DAY the piece isn’t returned (not including discounts). If the item hasn’t been returned within 7 business days we will consider the item as non-returned and incur a 100% fee of the recommended retail price of that item (on top of the hire fee).

CANCELLATION

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING POLICIES IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER

WBH does not offer refunds for cancelled orders. We offer only a store credit minus a $20 cancellation fee. To be eligible for any store credit you must cancel 7 days BEFORE your dispatch / pickup date. The credit note can be used to rent or buy any items available and will have a 12 month expiry.

For cancellation requests received within 7 days prior to dispatch, you will not be entitled to a credit note or refund. 

In exceptional circumstances we will consider a cancellation, but reserve the right to decide. Please get in touch to explain your situation for our consideration.

ISSUES WITH APPEARANCE

If your item doesn't fit you and is returned unworn on the same day for local pickups or lodged into an auspost store 24 hours after receiving the piece/s or the same day if received on friday) you will receive a full store credit minus $20 cancellation fee + minus shipping fees.

DAMAGES AND LOSS

If damage (stains, rips, etc) is observed when your garment arrives, please take photos of this and let us know straight away. If you don't do this and there was no known damage prior to delivery, it may be assumed that the damage was caused by you.

If you damage a rental item, do not attempt to repair it. If it can be easily repaired (e.g. sewing on a button, re-stitching) it will be taken care of with no additional cost to you. It's also not a problem if the garment is stained, as long as it comes out when it is dry-cleaned after you've returned the garment.

You agree that under no circumstances will you attempt to clean/repair the rental item(s) yourself, or have them cleaned/repaired by anyone else. Do not cut, alter, iron or hem tape any item booked with us.

If an item is damaged and is not covered by minor repairs as mentioned above, or insurance, you will be liable for the cost of restoring or replacing the garment. In the case the garment cannot be restored to a suitable condition, the fee charged may be up to, but not more than, 100% of the original RRP of the garment. This fee will be on top of any amount already paid for rental or postage, and the item will still need to be returned to WornByHer, regardless of the amount of damage.

If you've lost or not returned an item, you will be liable for up to 200% of the RRP of the item.

The items available for rent on our website are often sold out in all retail stores and no longer available from the designer. This has led to some people renting an item and not returning it, or saying it is lost, so that they are able to obtain something they want to keep. This, along with loss of earnings from potential future rentals, is why there is a fee of up to 200% of RRP for lost and unreturned items.

If an item is lost by Australia Post, then there will be no fees charged to you. This is why it is important that you return the item by posting it over-the-counter at an Australia Post office or depot.

By doing this, the item will be scanned and there will be a record of you posting the item in their tracking system. This will not happen when you put it into a street post box, as a system record won't be created until it reaches a scanning depot, and there will be no evidence of you having posted the item, meaning you would be liable for the loss.

By accepting this agreement, you give permission for WornByHer to charge fees for damages or loss of an item to the payment method you used when placing your order. You will be given the option of using an alternative payment method before the charge is made.
